Caddo Ranch focuses on whitetail deer. The genetics of our herd blends hardy Oklahoma deer stock, with the size and points of larger northern deer. The result is hardy, strong, healthy whitetails who are born in a wild, natural environment.

All of our deer run free.  None are penned.  This has allowed us to grow deer that are truly wild, but contained within our high fence.

In 2016, our hunts will feature deer that will achieve an antler score of 130-250.  In 2017, the average buck size will increase due to our introduction of some very large parents in our 2016 fawning season, and the antler size will range from 150-300.  For the same reason, in 2018 our bucks will score up to 350, with some likely larger.

The deer feed primarily on natural acorns dropped in our oak forests.  We also seed green plots with a variety of plants including turnips and soybeans.  Last, we supplement with protein feeders, especially during some of the colder months when the acorns are gone and the browse is scarce.
